Wabana Township

Wabana Township Wabana Township is located in Itasca County. There are approximately 500 people, approximately 200 households in our township.

We have 26 lakes and 6 miles of township roads to care and maintain. Outdoor pavilion is available for use during summer months. Townhall is available to rent for family or group gatherings. Warming shack for ice-skaters is available for use during winter months.

We are looking for volunteers to help on Wabana Township’s Landscaping Day- Wednesday, May 20th.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your own planting tools, gloves, water and lunch to the town hall. A “Woodland Pocket” presentation will begin at 9am. Planting will start at 10:30am

We are looking for more volunteers to help us clean-up our township roadways next Saturday, September 27th. Meet at the town hall at 9 AM to pick up an orange vest & garbage bags. Bring a pair of gloves if you want. We’ll have coffee and donuts available before heading out to pick up trash. The roads are divided into 1 mile zones. Any amount of time you are willing to donate will be appreciated by all
