As a matter of public service I would like to remind the people of Michigan of the following fact.

The Libertarian Party is the ONLY political party whose founding was bound to principles to genuinely reducing government. We declared back in the 70's there was too much government and we fought against it back then and we will continue to fight against the growth of government until the government goes belly-up. We will then - with much grief because of the hurt we would feel when our country comes to an end - have to bear the burden of reminding people they were warned.

If you genuinely feel that government spending is too high, there is too much taxation, and too many regulations, then the ONLY political party available that will fight to remedy this situation is the Libertarian Party.

It's hard to put a finger on the worst things that Donald Trump has done as President. This X(tweet) sums it up pretty well. In the past the Republican party at least played lip service to fiscal responsibility even though they never came close to living up to that promise. With Donald Trump the Republicans, like the Democrats, now attack the financial disaster that is our budget as a revenue issue. There is virtually nobody left on the Republican side advocating for a smaller Federal Government, balanced budgets and executive restraint. The two predominant political parties in this country have grown closer and closer over the last several decades. The difference now is almost indistinguishable and primarily focused on social issues. They are both advocates for foreign war. They are both advocates for a larger more powerful central government. They are both advocates for a planned economy vs. a free market. When considering the Green party and the Libertarian party, we are the only voice for limited government and constitutional principles.
