Patchy fog will continue to lift and clear this morning. Max temperatures this afternoon will reach into the 80s and a humid air mass will linger over the area. Isolated storms are possible this afternoon north of a boundary, the strongest of which could become severe this afternoon into the early evening hours. The area of most concern is along and east of the US 127 corridor in Lower MI. Damaging winds and hail are the main threat.

All storms may contain damaging winds and lightning. Heavy downpours are expected and minor flooding is possible.

This could allow for isolated to scattered showers mid to late afternoon that could continue into the evening. The strongest of these storms could become severe with the biggest threats damaging winds and large hail.

Winds and waves will be minimal today, and will increase a bit for Saturday, and again Sunday. A moderate swim risk will be present Sat and Sun as waves increase to 2-3 ft, with the highest waves further North. The only chance of rain over the weekend will be Sun afternoon.
