We are overjoyed to share that our partner family Corinne Allen closed on her home loan recently, bringing to completion her journey to becoming a homeowner! Her patience and hard work during this process have paid off!

Corinne’s home was the 50th house we’ve built since our founding in 1992, a milestone achievement for Itasca County Habitat for Humanity. Special thanks to Midland Title, Stearns Bank and Grand Rapids State Bank for providing excellent service.

A group of volunteers from Lake Superior College helped get our home in Marble ready for dedication to partner family Chip and Candy. The group did landscaping outside of the home to make everything look nice for dedication day. Thank you Lake Superior College volunteers! Your contribution makes a world of difference for our partner family.

Work has started on our newest net-zero home in Grand Rapids. We are working alongside partner family Taryn and Desirae on this highly energy-efficient home that will provide great cost savings on their energy bill every month.
