Showing up for a child in foster care doesn't look the same every week.

Sometimes it's a courtroom. Sometimes it's a school meeting or a doctor's appointment. Sometimes it's just being the one consistent adult who calls to check in.

CASA volunteers commit to one child at a time — and every volunteer completes at least 30 hours of training before taking a case. One child. One advocate. All in.

! Our team was proud to show up at Michigan Family Reunification and Preservation Day last month. Held annually, this event honors the families who have safely reunited after working through the child welfare system. The celebration was a powerful reminder of what's possible when children have consistent advocates supporting them along the way.
