Fountain Hill Studio,LLC is a Grand Rapids, Michigan based workshop space dedicated to historical photographic processes and analog photography at its best. The workshops are open to Artists, Professional Photographers, Educators, Students and anyone interested in extending their knowledge, developing new skills and exploring new fields. The workshops are about Learning, Teaching, Exchanging, Exploring, Experimenting and Researching.

Friends! I'm planning on a basic Wetplate workshop the weekend of Nov. 14 (Friday evening) to Nov. 16 (Sunday afternoon).
We wil concentrate on honing the skills necessary to shoot larger plate sizes. Both tin and black glass will be used (4x5 to 5x7).
Cost: 125.00... 5 spots are open.

It’s with great sadness that I tell you of Mr. Willoughby’s passing. He was in kidney failure for the past two months and in the last few days took a turn for the worse. Our hearts are broken for our beloved companion of 16 years. We rescued him ( or he us ?) by way of our friend Ruth DeJager, who worked for years for Dachshund Rescue. She always said: “ Willoughby, You landed in Chocolate!” He was our bossy overlord to the end. We are heartbroken zombies at the moment, but I wanted to let you know.
