Today was a good day, even if I didn't win. It was a good day because democracy happened and it's a beautiful sight to see in action.

Thank you all so much for the support throughout this entire campaign. You opened your doors, your homes, and we shared our hopes and dreams for a better county. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped in every way over the last several months, your support will never be forgotten.

Congratulations to Mr. Townsend and I wish you the best of luck in the General.

Big THANK YOU to The Builders, A Chapter of the AGC for the trust and endorsement of my campaign for Jackson County Legislator. The Builders represent over 600 General contracors, subcontractors and suppliers of both commerical and industrial construction.

But what is even more impressive is the multi-craft apprentice training center here in Kansas City that prepares hundreds of men and women each year with job training for a GREAT CAREER!

This last Wednesday night, the League of Women Voters hosted a candidate forum for races in districts 4, 5, and 6. If you have time to watch or listen, all three candidates for the 4th district (2 democrats and 1 republican) were present to answer questions.
