Signups are currently underway for the upcoming 7th Annual Zebra Dash - 5k, 10k, Fun Run on Saturday, June 27, at the Grandview City Park. This will be a family friendly event suitable for all ages(strollers welcome).

Please register by 6/15/2026 to guarantee your free race shirt.

TIMED RUNNERS - Medals will be awarded to top performers both Male and Female in the following age groups:
5k – 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older
10k – Top 3 Male/Female (across all age groups)
Fun run – All runners will receive a participation ribbon

Race Day Schedule:
7:00am-7:45: Entry packet pick up, and walk up registration
7:45am: Welcome/Lineup
8:00am: RUN!!!!

The library has a 55-inch Samsung plasma TV that it would like to give away to someone in need. Please note: This TV is NOT designed to be mounted because it is covered with thick glass and weighs about 50+ pounds (guess). It also has no remote control, but the menu, input, power, volume and channel buttons are touch screen on the glass.
Lastly, if you’d like to consider taking this TV but may not be in a financial hardship, please consider making a small token donation to the library. Thank you!

Hello everyone. The Grandview Public Library is considering a Mommy and Me story time once a month during the school year for 3, 4, and 5 yr olds. This would be a story read by some of our volunteers, followed by a simple craft. If this is something you're interested in for your child/children ,please let us know. As we're approaching Valentine's Day 2026, let's take a look back some 70+ years ago as Huffman Drug prepared for Valentine's Day in downtown Grandview in the 1950s.

These images are part of the Grandview History Project - a free resource from the Grandview Public Library including a large database of Grandview newspapers, yearbooks and photos...some dating back to the late 1800s.
