GHS Theatre is excited to invite you to its production of StageFright happening this Thursday and Saturday. Join us for a night of spooky fun and entertainment!

Event Details:

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: FunFright Trick-or-Treating Walkthrough (perfect for younger attendees)
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: FullFright (a more intense experience)
Important Information:

Waiver Requirement: If your student is younger than GHS grade levels and would like to attend, they must have a signed waiver and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Trigger Warning: Please be aware that the FullFright experience may not be suitable for younger students, as it includes scary elements. We recommend discretion when deciding whether your child should attend.

We are pleased to announce Dwayne Darden will be joining Grandview High School as the new head football Coach. Darden graduated from Thomas J. Corcoran High School in Syracuse, NY in 2006, where he excelled as an all-conference linebacker and achieved Second Team All-State honors. He went on to play college football at Delaware State University from 2006 to 2007 before embarking on a professional career in arena football, notably with the Syracuse Bombers and Syracuse Soldiers. Darden continued his football journey with semi-pro teams such as the Kansas City Bulldogs and Kansas City Panthers from 2013 to 2018.

In 2016, he began coaching in the South Suburban Football League for the Chiefs, eventually becoming the head coach at Grandview Middle School from 2022 to 2024, leading the team to an undefeated season and securing the school's first championship in history. He’s also contributed as a volunteer assistant offensive line coach at the high school level and as a throws coach for track and field, producing six individual state champions in shot put and discus events, including a school record holder.
