**UPDATE**

💧The water tower maintenance🛠️ is currently underway. Water pressure is being maintained and there will be no boil order. 7/22/2026

Kudos to the Public Works Crew for successfully working to avoid a citywide shutdown!!

From the desk of the Public Works Foreman:

A contractor is scheduled to pressure wash the inside of our water tower on Wednesday, 22nd of JULY, 2026. They will begin work at 0930. Public works crew will drain the tower that morning to accommodate the work. The work should be completed in 3-4 hours, and there will be a boil notice for the entire city after service is restored. Public works will use the opportunity to do lots of flushing.

While there really is no convenient time to do something like this, Brad was able to work with the contractor to get the best window possible.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Reminder of the work starting tomorrow morning on E Davilla from Hwy 95 to Donohoe.


⚠️⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE⚠️⚠️: On Wednesday, July 1st, from 7:00am-6:00pm Tx Dot contractors will be repairing a section of E Davilla from Hwy 95 to just short of Donohoe St. That section of the road will be closed while the repairs are being completed. This will effect the businesses and homes along that section of E Davilla. The area being repaired will only be the traffic lanes. The parking areas will not be changed. However, if you need your vehicle, please plan to park it on a side street. The city has been working with TxDot to have this section of road repaired for over 6 months. We look forward to having a safer intersection at 95 and E Davilla. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences during this repair.

The Texas Division of Emergency Management has announced a statewide test of local emergency alerting systems on Thursday, April 2.

Williamson County Office of Emergency Management will participate by sending test messages across the county between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.(approx.)

You may receive multiple test alerts on your phone during this time. This is expected as part of a coordinated test.

✔️Check your phone’s Settings and Notifications to ensure that your Emergency Alerts are turned on.
