Idaho County Democrats The Idaho County Democratic Party is part of District 7 and is located in northern Idaho.

We aim to foster dialogue, activism & sense of community among Democrats in Idaho County and our State! Idaho County Democratic Party

Mission
The Idaho County Dems wish to create a community of registered Democrats where all can express their beliefs, promote their values and actively pursue a progressive society. Objectives

To increase numbers of Democratic registered voters and Permanent Vote

by Mail (PVBM) registered voters in Idaho County. To maximize turnout of Democratic registered voters in all elections -- municipal, state and federal. To support Democratic candidates for all elected and appointed offices, boards and commissions in Idaho County. We believe


In social equality, equal opportunity and the use of government to pursue both. In a safe, secure America, fair wages, universal healthcare, first-rate education systems accessible to all and environmental policies that sustain the planet and human life. That United States foreign policy must reflect the tenets of our Constitution, the goodness of our citizens and our irrevocable commitment to continuity of human existence. That we must actively advocate and work for these beliefs in our own local community. That the government and citizens of Idaho County face increasing challenges in addressing employment, healthcare, environmental, energy, housing, development and quality of life issues. That activism and involvement in political processes are fundamental responsibilities of citizenship.

This morning, Alex Pretti was shot and killed in Minneapolis by a group of Border Patrol agents after filming them. Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse at the VA who helped critically ill veterans. Alex's colleagues say he was a wonderful man who loved his patients and enjoyed mountain biking. He will be greatly missed.

Y'all. Tens of thousands of people have taken the streets of Minneapolis in 20 below zero temps in one of the largest, most spontaneous and effective direct mobilizations in modern American history. And to think this is only a fraction of the people around the city who are mobilized. People are delivering groceries for their neighbors, some people are knitting clothing, some people are donating their time tracking ICE vehicles.

Today Minneapolis sent a clear message to the regime: ICE is not welcome here and we will protect our community!

Sadly, our president chose to post mocking AI videos of himself as King Trump in a jet plane ✈️ dumping p**p on protesters in response to millions marching against him and his government policies. I wish it weren’t true.

Donald Trump responded to the No Kings protests with an AI video showing him as a "Top Gun" pilot dumping what looks like f***l matter on protesters.
