🚑 Happy National EMS Week from Syringa Hospital Ambulance! 🚑

May 17–23 we celebrate the people who answer the call — across mountain passes, canyon roads, and mile after mile of Idaho County.

Our EMS crew covers over 1,400 square miles of some of the most rugged terrain in the state. No matter the weather. No matter the hour. No matter how far.

This year's theme is "Improving Outcomes, Together" — and that's exactly what our team does every single day, working hand-in-hand with Syringa Hospital, our clinics, fire departments, law enforcement, and the communities we're proud to serve.

Thank you to every driver, EMR, EMT, and AEMT on our crew. Idaho County is safer because of you. 💙

Today we want to take a moment to honor the incredible mothers on our EMS team — the women who show up not just for their families at home, but for every family in our community who needs them most.

They answer the call at 2 AM, leave birthday dinners, and miss bedtime stories — not because it's easy, but because they are wired to help. They bring calm to chaos, strength to the scared, and compassion to the hardest moments of people's lives.

To our moms in uniform: you are seen, you are celebrated, and we are so proud to serve alongside you. 🚑❤️

Thank you for the sacrifices you make — both on the rig and at home. Wishing you a day full of rest, love, and all the appreciation you deserve.

New AED alert! Thanks Cottonwood Community Federal Credit Union in Grangeville for allowing us to put an AED in their entryway! They have made a commitment to the health and safety of the public by increasing access to this life saving device. This AED is accessible 24 hours a day and available for use by the public in an emergency. Thank you CCFU for helping us on our mission to get more 24 hour accessible AEDs in Grangeville!
