The cats out of the bag!

South Placer Fire District has teamed up with Placer SPCA to support adoptable animals waiting for their forever homes. Every item donated provides comfort, enrichment, and daily care for pets in need.

Most needed items:
🐱 Mom & Baby Cat Wet Food (Ultra Soft Mousse, 3 oz & 5.1 oz cans)
🍼 Miracle Ni***es
🥫 Wet & dry cat and dog food (must be unexpired & unopened)

Drop off:

The firehouse kitchen table isn’t just where you eat, it’s where firefighters are made.

It’s where probies get humbled, stories get exaggerated, and mistakes are remembered forever.

It’s where you’ll get roasted harder than the station coffee if you screw something up, but it’s also where the same guys giving you hell would walk through fire for you without a second thought

You won’t find leadership manuals at the table, but you’ll find chipped coffee mugs, bad jokes, questionable meals, and solutions to all of the world’s problems.

It’s where tradition lives, calls get replayed, laughs are had, and every Firefighter earns a seat.

The best training isn’t always on the drill ground. Sometimes it’s the senior Jake telling the probie “Sit down, let’s go over a few things.”

If you’ve never experienced the Firehouse table for a meal it’s hard to understand. But if you have, you know the hardest part of leaving the job is leaving that table…
