Unfortunately, the cards did not play in our favor, but we had a good run in our efforts. I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped on my campaign this last year and a half, especially my team members - Denny, Adam, and Andy. I also want to thank my wife, Katyann, for being my support system throughout all this, as well as my parents, in-laws, sister, brother-in-law, and aunt. For everyone who attended events, donated, and showed your support, it means the world to me.

Also, I would like to extend my congratulations to Nikki Budzinski and Katie Stuart, who both won their races.

It is hard to believe that after a year and a half of campaigning, knocking on over 16,000 doors, talking with voters, collaborating with city leaders, and participating in several community events, the time is finally here. I have continuously pled my case as to why you should vote for me as your State Representative in District 111, and here I am asking one last time before the polls close tomorrow night. Every day, decisions are being made that affect our families, our schools, our jobs, and our future. The stakes are high, and now is the time for us to stand together and bring the change we deserve.

Out of the countless conversations I’ve had with residents across Granite City, Alton, Wood River, Roxana, Godfrey, Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Bethalto, etc., there has been a common consensus - people are tired of feeling left out and silenced. Additionally, a good majority don’t even know who our current State Representative is, and that is a huge failure on my opponent’s part. After four years in office, she has achieved nothing.

As your State Representative, I will work relentlessly to bring jobs to our area, grant money to projects, quality education for our children, and work with city leaders to ensure that District 111 will flourish. I believe in a vision that puts people first. I’m not afraid to speak up for what's right, and I’m ready to fight for a better future for all of us—not just the powerful and privileged few. However, change doesn’t happen by sitting on the sidelines. It happens when we, as a community, come together and demand it. I’m committed to being your voice in the State Capitol, making sure your concerns are heard and your needs are met.

Together, we can create a state we’re all proud to call home, and that is why I am asking for your vote as your next State Representative.

Had the honor of joining the picket line for Machinists Union Lodge 660 members on strike at Eaton B-Line in Troy and Highland. They are fighting for better working conditions and better pay.

If anyone is interested in donating food or water, please drop off items at the Local Union Hall in East Alton (161 N. Shamrock Rd) or on-site at the picket lines.

Great afternoon knocking on doors in West Granite with Jeff Rains, President of United Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees. It’s great to have support from people like Jeff, who understand the value of having a representative that will stand up for working people across the district.

Since announcing my candidacy to run for State Representative last year, I have knocked on over 13,000 doors, and I have heard from thousands of residents within the 111th District about what their concerns are. Many feel left out and that they have no input in the decisions that are being made in Springfield. I understand their frustrations because I feel the same way. That is one of the biggest reasons why I decided to run.

Simply put, my opponent has let the people of her district down. She has voted time and time again to turn her back on working people, and she hasn’t brought much needed resources to our area.

For me, the choice couldn’t be clearer. We can vote for change. I’ve worked relentlessly throughout this election to earn your votes, and you better believe that if elected, that hard work won’t stop. I will be there for you, fighting to bring jobs to our area, improve our infrastructure, and make sure that no one is left behind.

We have a little over a week left until the election, and I’m asking for your votes because together, we can make a better tomorrow. We can make Springfield work for us all.

Thank you Adam and Brett for helping me canvass in Alton today! 266 doors done!

A beautiful day of walking in the Wood River and Hartford Halloween parades, then knocking on over 100 doors in Hartford. Thank you to Katyann, Denny, Adam, Scout, my parents, and their dog Maggie, for helping. We are down to the wire, and we only have 11 days left. If you haven’t voted yet, please consider electing for me for State Representative!
