Happy Monday! We can’t believe it’s already June and graduation week is finally upon us!

Even though the school year is wrapping up, we are not slowing down on showcasing the amazing humans who make our district so special. You might have seen her name just last week as one of our 4th Quarter Bridge Builder Award winners—because she is an absolute rockstar—but for this week’s Faces of Granite Falls, we are officially showcasing Molly Alldredge!

🍎 Spotlight: Molly Alldredge

🐅 What do you enjoy most about your job or working with students and staff in Granite Falls?
“This is my 3rd year in Granite Falls School District as a Speech and Language Pathologist. I get to evaluate students' communication and create personalized plans to support them in school. My favorite work days are the ones spent building communication with students/families and learning new skills with the many teams I get to work with.”

🐅Share a favorite memory or moment from your time working in Granite Falls.
“The day I got to step in and be a substitute teacher for one of my favorite people. I got to be with students the entire day, learning together through play and coaching kiddos through conflicts. That day changed my perspective and reminded me I needed to figure out how to be with students and coworkers as much as possible.”

🐅If you could describe Granite Falls in one word, what would it be — and why? “Connected - Because it’s full of strong people that care.”

GFHS Marine Biology @ Seattle Aquarium 🐋✨🦀🐚

On Tuesday, Mrs. Kemp took her Marine Biology class to the Seattle Aquarium to wrap up an incredible year of learning about oceanography, environmental impacts, and marine life—ranging from coral reefs to whales and reptiles!

While there, our students participated in a specialized, hour-long class focusing on ocean acidification and species conservation, with a close look at the vital keystone species found right here in our own Puget Sound!

After the lesson, students got to roam the exhibits and explore the incredible underwater worlds. A massive thank you to Mrs. Kemp for organizing this fantastic experiential learning trip for our Tigers!

As the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, our seniors continue to achieve incredible milestones. Today, we shine a well-deserved spotlight on Ella Hakso! ✨

Ella was recently honored as the Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center Student of the Year. To win this award, a student must consistently lead by example in communication, organization, teamwork, and character.

Thank you, Ella, for showing our younger students what is possible through hard work and determination. We are so proud of you!
