🍕✨ Mrs. Richardson’s 3rd Graders Are Serving Up Some Serious Math Skills! ✨🍕

Who knew place value could look this delicious? Mrs. Richardson’s 3rd graders turned math into their very own Place Value Pizzeria! Using creativity, colorful paper pizzas, and plenty of brainpower, students practiced representing numbers in standard form, expanded form, and word form. 🧠✏️

This hands-on lesson was the perfect recipe: a scoop of creativity, a sprinkle of imagination, and a BIG helping of math! ❤️🍕

When students can build it, create it, and see it, learning becomes so much more meaningful—and a whole lot more fun!

Way to go, Mrs. Richardson and her amazing 3rd graders! 👏📚

They definitely know how to serve up some SMART cookies…or should we say, smart pizzas! 😉🍕

🏘️✨ Welcome to “Noun” Town! ✨🏘️

Mrs. Berry and Mrs. Richardson’s second and third graders, respectively, put their creativity and grammar skills to work by developing their very own “Noun” Town! 🏫🏡🏪🌳

Each student created their own unique designs and artwork while showing what they’ve learned about nouns. Their towns had to include people, places, and things, along with proper nouns that needed those very important capital letters!

This project was a fun way to take what they’ve been learning in the classroom and bring it to life through creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning. From naming businesses and buildings to adding people, landmarks, and all the little details that make a town complete, these second and third graders did a fantastic job putting their knowledge to work!

We love seeing learning and creativity come together at Granite Elementary! ❤️🖤

Mrs. Berry’s 2nd grader Royce Sanders!! G.O.A.T. Of the Week!

He gets to wear the necklace all week long! Good grades, perfect attendance, following the rules and being a good friend can earn you the G.O.A.T necklace.
