Reminder about tomorrow’s events. JH is 7th and 8th grades. HS is 9th through 12th grades. Please remind your children about dressing nice and school appropriate attire. When in doubt, go with nice jeans or slacks. Hope to see all of you tomorrow at our assemblies. ❤️

❤️ As we approach our end-of-the-year awards assemblies, we kindly ask parents to help students dress nicely for these special events. Your child may be receiving an award or recognition and walking across the stage to accept a certificate from their teacher or administration. Dressing nicely for these occasions is not only a sign of respect for the event, but also helps teach students the importance of presenting themselves in a professional and confident manner.

These moments may seem small now, but they are building blocks for the future. Learning how to appropriately dress for important events helps children understand professionalism, pride, self-respect, and how to carry themselves with confidence in front of others. Whether it is an awards assembly, a job interview one day, college presentations, church events, banquets, or community ceremonies, these life skills matter.

At Granite Public Schools, we believe students are never too young to begin learning how to represent themselves, their families, and their school with pride and respect. Looking neat and presentable also helps make the day feel even more special and memorable for the students being recognized for their hard work and accomplishments.

We also kindly ask for your continued partnership in helping us enforce and uphold our school dress code policy during these events. Following dress code expectations teaches responsibility, accountability, and respect for school standards. We are truly grateful for our parents and families who consistently support our staff and administration in reinforcing these expectations. When schools and families work together as a team, it creates a stronger culture of respect, pride, and success for all students.

We invite and encourage all parents, grandparents, siblings, and extended family members to attend these celebrations as we honor the accomplishments, growth, and hard work of our students throughout the school year. These assemblies are special moments for our students and having their families present means more to them than words can express. The support from our families and community is one of the many things that makes Granite Public Schools so special. Small town schools thrive because of the love, encouragement, and partnership between home and school, and we are incredibly thankful for that support.

As we close another successful school year, we want to sincerely thank our students, families, staff, and community for a wonderful year filled with growth, perseverance, pride, and Panther spirit. Thank you for supporting our school, our teachers, our coaches, and most importantly, our children. We hope everyone has a safe, restful, and wonderful summer. ❤️🐾🖤
