Community Helpers Day at Byrd!

Today, our kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students had an exciting opportunity to learn about different community helpers, the important jobs they do, and the vehicles they use to help our community! From keeping us safe to caring for people and animals, our students got a closer look at the amazing ways these helpers serve others every day.

A HUGE thank-you to our community partners who took time out of their busy schedules to visit Byrd and make this learning experience so special!

389 students had PERFECT ATTENDANCE for the entire month of September! 🥳👏

Each of these students received a certificate and a special attendance bracelet to recognize their accomplishment.

Being at school every day matters, and we are so proud of these students for showing up, being on time, and ready to learn! 💙

Happy National Instructional Coach Day to our very own Megan Bush! 💙

Mrs. Bush does an incredible job supporting our teachers and students every day. She wears many hats and is always ready to jump right in.

Fun Fact: She is the face behind many of our social media videos.

We are so thankful for everything she brings to Byrd!
