Thank You for Another Wonderful Community Park Picnic Weekend!
The Park Committee would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year's Community Park Picnic Weekend another incredible success.
A special thank you to Jamie and Jeff Elmhorst for organizing the youth baseball game on Friday, as well as all of the coaches, players, and volunteers who made the evening possible. Thank you to Paul Knoff for announcing, David Steinbach for keeping score, and to all of the Granton families who came out to cheer on our hometown kids. We also extend a special thank you to the Loyal/Greenwood youth baseball players, coaches, and families for making the trip and supporting your teams. Your enthusiasm helped create an exciting night of baseball for everyone.
Thank you to Terry Foss for coordinating the softball tournament each and every year, and to all of the teams and players who continue to spend your weekend with us year after year. Your continued support means so much to our community.
A sincere thank you to the Romadka 4-H club for once again getting the pavilion in top-notch shape and for providing the delicious dessert that perfectly complements our annual roast beef meal.
To all of our sponsors, local businesses, volunteers, and community members who donated raffle items, monetary contributions, and countless hours of your time—please know how deeply grateful we are. Your generosity helps make this event possible and allows the Park Committee to continue investing in our community park.
Finally, to our community: thank you for your unwavering support—not only throughout Park Picnic Weekend, but all season long. Your encouragement, generosity, and involvement are what make our community so special, and we are truly grateful.
Last, but certainly not least, the Park Committee would like to extend our sincerest and deepest sympathies to the Eibergen and Opelt families on the loss of Pam.
Pam's dedication, presence and involvement in the community was impactful and will be missed. The park was always grateful for her help and support as she often volunteered along with other FFA Alumni. She was dearly loved throughout the community, and her kindness and presence touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
