We hope you are enjoying the rain as much as we are, but sadly we can't ignore the fact that fire season is right around the corner.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing important and helpful information about how to prepare yourselves, along with resources should you find yourself in an evacuation zone.

🔥First and MOST important, is to sign up for Citizen Alerts! This will be the very first alert that will go out to individuals in an affected area. You will not receive any spam or other notifications by signing up. This alert system is strictly for urgent/emergent notifications. If you already have Citizen Alerts, now would be a good time to log into your account and make sure all your information is current. Remember, we can't alert you if we can't reach you.

🔥Second, Know Your Zone. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the Genasys Protect map. This is an interactive map that allows you to search by address. As alerts go out and when evacuation orders are in effect, it will be by zone. Being familiar with this map now will make navigating it during critical times easier.

Stay tuned for more helpful information in the coming weeks and PLEASE help inform family and friends that do not have access to social media, etc.
