Saturday, April 24th, approximately 30 members from Station 23 in York County and Station 39 in Dauphin County participated in a live burn exercise at the York County Fire School. The exercise was lead by Deputy Chief Tim Stevens. The burn techs for the day were Chief's Schmolitz and Stevens, Assistant Chief Shroyer and former York City Chief Chad Deardorff. Members were divided into 4 different groups with members from both companies. They did numerous RIT evolutions along with other fire attack scenarios.
Thank you to Station 23 for the invite, it is great to train with other stations, especially stations from another county.

A little after 0930 Dauphin County 911 dispatched the 39/81 for an accident with entrapment. Crews arrived on scene to find no one trapped but 1 PT was lying inbetween the vehicles. Crews supported EMS in getting the pt out from inbetween the vehicles and into EMS care. While that was going on crews were also checking to make sure none of the saddle tanks were leaking any fuel. The scene was then handed back over to PSP and units cleared. To all the motorists out there please remember, slow down and move over. This incident could have been avoided by doing so.

At around 07:30 company 39 and 36 were dispatched to an accident with reported entrapment in the 1700blk of Laudermilch Road. Due to the weather and updates from the county Rescue 48 was also added to the incident. EMS from South Central arrived and reported 1 male to be heavily entrapped. Crews from 36/39 started extrication on the PT. Crews had to remove the door, cut the roof, cut the driver seat out and perform a dash roll to free the trapped occupant. Good morning. I was just looking at your Spring 2020 Newsletter and noticed that the dates for the Carnival are not correct. They should be Wednesday, July 22 thru Saturday, July 25. (NOT the 23rd thru 26th.)
When is the spaghetti dinner in March? The Township newsletter has the wrong date.
Please share and spread the word about this helpful, resourceful page. You never know who you might be helping. 💕It is not Lebanon county specific nor is it government/county run. It’s just an ordinary individual trying to help others! 💕
Is your fundraising event still happening tomorrow at Hoss's in Hummelstown? It is not listed under Events on Facebook or on your website.
You guys were amazing! Thanks for all that you do!
When is the Halloween Parade this year?
