Early this morning, Company 39, along with multiple mutual aid companies, was dispatched to the 8200 block of Jonestown Road for a reported commercial structure fire. Updated information from county confirmed it to be a working barn fire.

Upon arrival, three attack lines were deployed, and Tower 35 was utilized to assist with fire suppression operations. Crews worked diligently to bring the fire under control and complete extinguishment.

Company 39 responded with our Engine, Tanker and Squad with a total manpower of 10.

We would like to thank all mutual aid companies for their assistance on the scene, as well as New Kingstown Fire & North Annville Fire for covering our station during the incident.

Company 39 and West Hanover Township Fire Co. came together tonight to train on forcible entry with the blue door. Newer members from both companies got valuable hands-on experience forcing doors and learning the techniques and knowledge needed for forcible entry.

The night wrapped up with crews going over Rescue 36-1 & Squad 39 giving Company 39 & 36s newer members the chance to get familiar with the rigs.

Thank you to Paxtonia 34 Fire Company for letting us borrow the blue door.
