Treat yourself to some delicious desserts and fresh fruit tonight at our Peach Fest!

Here’s just a sampling of what you can enjoy. Bingo will start around 6:30 pm and those yummy looking muffins are prizes for bingo winners.

Join us tonight between 6-8 pm in the Township’s community room. This is a free event and donations are welcome!

Our last Family Movie Night of the summer is next Friday, 8/21 at 7:30 pm. Start the night by making a s'more by the pavilion, and fill a bag of popcorn for the movie. Bring chairs, blankets and a flashlight for the movie on the BIG screen in the amphitheater.

Let's enjoy one last summer weekend before school begins the next week. Call 717-469-0833 x202 for the movie title. In case if inclement weather, the movie will be moved to Saturday night, 8/22.

Our annual Peach Fest is this Saturday, inside the Township Municipal Building's Community Room from 6-8 pm. But there is a twist- local peaches are scarce due to late frosts this spring, so we will have a variety of fruit desserts instead!

Join us Saturday evening for apple crisp or cherry cobbler, warm with ice cream. Or have some blueberry pie or banana pudding dessert. The popular cheesecake tarts are back this year, with a variety of fruit toppings. Or have some shortcake with fresh cut fruit on top. We will also have some fresh cut fruit to enjoy along with ice cream treats.

Bingo will start around 6:30 pm, with our delicious muffin prizes. This event is free, and donations are welcome! Save room for dessert after supper on Saturday and come over to the Township building for a fun night with friends and neighbors.

Tonight's Ice Cream Social and concert with the Lower Paxton Variety Band will be indoors to the Township building due to the air quality.

Kick-off your weekend with a family and friends night in the air-conditioned Community Room, for some ice cream treats 🍦 and big band music 🎶 from 7-8 pm. After the concert is over, stick around for a movie and snacks like popcorn, pretzels and lemonade!

Bring your own chairs and blankets for seating or use ones available in the building.

The show must go on, so we're going to apply some magic- and in case of rain 'The Amazing Magi' show from 7-8 pm will *appear* inside the Township building in the Community Room. 🎩

Join us at 6:30 pm to learn about some easy outdoor camping recipes and taste pizza mt. pies and s'mores. In case of rain, the whole program will be moved indoors, and we have tasting options for indoors or over a campfire. Check out the sign at the park entrance to see if we'll be at the pavilion or indoors.

Unfortunately, we will not be camping out this time and will save the movie for our next Family Night in July, on Friday, July 17th for our Ice Cream Social.

Reminder: our first Family Night of the summer is Friday, June 26th at 6:30 pm by the Community Park pavilion. Bring chairs and blankets for a magic show by 'Michael Reist, The Amazing Magi' at 7 pm.

Our theme this month is Camping! ⛺️ We'll start out the night with samples of pizza mountain pies and s'mores and learn about some easy camping recipes with tips and techniques you can use this summer. Want to try camping with your family close to home? Bring your tents and camp-out in the park overnight and enjoy a campfire Breakfast in the morning!
