Granville’s community library founded in 1909. Part of the SALS library system. Seating inside is available.

Offering programs for all ages, free WiFi, and Farm 2 Library fresh food to help our community and support lifelong learning. We will be open 10-5 on Tuesdays, 1-5 on Wednesdays 1-5 on Thursdays, 10-5 on Fridays and 10-1 Saturdays. Loitering will not be allowed. You can pick up items on reserve without an appointment, get a library card, or use the copier. There is limited computer & printer acces

Parking Lot Paving Notice
Beginning April 27, 2026, our parking lot paving project will be underway.
We Extend our sincere thanks to Granville, NY, Community Foundation and the Village of Granville for their generous support.
GOOD NEWS: The library and museum will remain OPEN! Parking will be available along the front of the building and on Main Street.
If You're unable to come inside, we happy to offer curbside assistance. Just give us a call at (518)642-2525.
