πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ MEMORIAL DAY 2026 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. As we reflect on 250 years of American history, we're reminded of the countless heroes - both in uniform and in our communities - who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedoms.

The Granville Fire Department stands alongside all those who have served. From the first responders of 1776 to today, the spirit of courage and commitment runs deep in the DNA of this great nation.

Today, we especially remember First Lieutenant Thomas J Fuller, a Marine from Granville whose unwavering dedication and bravery exemplified the very best of our nation's defenders. His memory lives on in our hearts and in the hearts of all who knew him.

We salute every veteran, every fallen soldier, and every family whose loved one answered the call to duty. This Memorial Day, let's take a moment to remember them. Let's honor their legacy. And let's recommit to the values they fought for : liberty, unity, and the promise of America.

Congrats to LT Hurley and FPO Schneider on their accomplishments. Well deserved for our great mutual aid partners.
