Since the start of feral foods CSA, our support from the community has been undeniable! Every moment was encouraging, humbling, and a great source of pride for us. The growth, no pun intended, that we expeirced because people believed in us and our purpose, brings tears to my eyes. There are so many memories that flood our minds, we just cant share them all here... but know each and everyone one of you holds places in our hearts- from field work, encourgaing words, enjoying a breakfast, purchasing a share, and just checking in, you've made us better people. It was a difficult choice for us to leave a community that had been so supportive. With our personalities, we've realized that we are constantly looking for new challenges, unique adventures, and growing more as a family. With our departure, we know there is no shortsge of amszing local farmers, special shout out to our feidns, Alexander Ball at Old City Acres and Rob Heath at Local Grown Harvest. Pleae continue to follow our journey in Waterloo, as growing food and community is never far from our hearts. Our doors are always open, with plenty of trails to hike, goats and chickens that need extra hugs, weeds to be pulled, beer to be drank and sledge hammers that need to be swung. As our feral journey continues, you'll be the first to know. Stay tuned...
Much love, appreciation, and open hearts-

We need a little more wall space around the farm with all the talent that's showing up on Sunday!

Check out what Liza has to say about herself and her work!
I am an artist, poet, writer, and self-proclaimed dreamer. I am a mother of two, and recently got married to the love of my life. I am currently pursuing a BA in Social Work and plan on obtaining my MAT with the goal of having a successful career in Art Therapy. I have been writing poetry since the age of 12, and have been passionate about literature and the arts throughout my life. Over the past two years I have experimented with my passion for acrylic painting, and have created many new pieces that are full of color and texture. I plan on broadening my skills and practicing with watercolor and oil paints in the near future. With my works I hope to inspire creativity, and for those viewing my art to allow themselves to feel the full spectrum of their emotions.
