So, so sad ðŸ˜
Do you know what this is? It's the inside of a puppy mill building. Rows of wire kennels line each side, usually 2 rows high. The red boxes are called 7-day feeders......they can pour cheap dry dog food into it and then don't have to worry about feeding the dogs again for 7 days. There's usually a watering system that runs the length of the kennels with rabbit waterers inside each cage.
These are designed to be easy and cheap for puppy mills to provide the basic survival needs to all the dogs producing puppies for the pet stores and for online sales. No socialization. No human touch. No interaction. No veterinary care. No love. This is the reality of how the moms and dads live, day after day, year after year until they can produce no more. Please spread the word and adopt, don't shop!
