That’s why we offer healthy relationship presentations to local middle school and high schools across Nevada County, helping teens build relationships rooted in respect, communication, and safety. 🧡

We also provide FREE, CONFIDENTIAL services to anyone above the age of 12.🧡

🌌 The Longest Night: A Community Remembrance 🌌

On December 19, 2025, from 4:30–5:30 PM, join us at 1103 Sutton Way, Grass Valley as we gather on the longest night of the year to honor the lives of those who have died while living unhoused.

Together, we will read names aloud, shine a light on the truth that homelessness takes lives, and commit to action so that no one is forgotten.

🤝 This event is hosted in partnership with the Spirit Center, a nonprofit offering homeless day services and peer support at the Commons Resource Center.

We’re still glowing after Thursday’s Ribbon Cutting, where we celebrated a milestone we’ve dreamed about for years: the purchase of our very first shelter.

To everyone who made this possible: thank you.
To The Kare Crisis Nursery, who believed in our mission from the start: thank you. ❤️
And to everyone who came out to witness this moment with us; you are part of our story.

This new shelter will allow us to continue offering life-saving services, safe space, and safe new beginnings for survivors in our community.
