Every Wednesday, all day, our students step out of the classroom and into your world, learning hands-on, real-world skills that no textbook can teach. As a mentor, you'd work directly with a student, showing them what your industry actually looks like day to day, and partner closely with Bitney Prep staff to make sure the experience is meaningful for everyone involved.

That's a wrap on Week of Welcome. We closed things out the sweetest way possible — frozen treats and good company at lunch on Friday.

No slow start here — Ms. Harper's math classes jumped right into the good stuff this week.
In Algebra, students dove into pattern recognition and conjectures, building the teamwork and class expectations that'll carry them through the year.
Meanwhile, Geometry got hands-on with Möbius strips — predicting, testing, analyzing... and yes, a few ended up as hats.

Lunch got loud today as students packed Room 8 for the first Week of Welcome activity. Every W.O.W. game is a chance to earn Bitney Bucks -- and today's players were chasing one of the most coveted prizes around: the Universal Homework Pass.
Tomorrow, we're keeping the creativity going with arts and crafts supplies out for anyone who wants to stop by. Come hang out, make something, and rack up those Bitney Bucks. See you at lunch!

Welcome back, Bitney Prep! Classes resume Monday, August 17th, and we're kicking things off with a full WEEK OF WELCOME because before we're a school, we're a community, and community starts with showing up for each other.
