ROBB TUCKER WINS THE CA-03 DEBATE
Tucker and Ami Bera gave voters a direct look at two very different approaches to representing CA-03. From our perspective, five issues defined the night:
1. AFFORDABILITY — Tucker connected California’s high cost of living to taxes, regulation, energy costs, housing costs, and government policy, arguing for lower taxes, less regulation, and less government interference.
2. HOUSING — Drawing on his experience as a county supervisor, Tucker focused on permitting costs, fees, and regulations that drive up the cost of housing before construction even begins.
3. WILDFIRE & HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE — Tucker brought the discussion directly back to rural California, emphasizing forest management, fuel reduction, and the insurance crisis already affecting families throughout our communities.
4. A VOICE FOR RURAL CA-03 — Tucker emphasized the importance of ensuring Nevada County and the rural communities of Placer and El Dorado counties have a strong voice in a district that also includes part of Sacramento County.
5. LOCAL ROOTS — Tucker highlighted that he was born and raised in the region, owns a business here, raised his family here, and currently serves as a Nevada County Supervisor. Tucker is native to the area he seeks to represent; his competitor lives outside the district in Elk Grove.
Robb Tucker won tonight’s debate.
Now it’s up to the voters of CA-03 to watch the debate, compare the candidates, and make their own decision.
Election Day is November 3. Make your voice heard.
