This evening our duty crew responded to I-70 twice. First for a vechile fire at the 139mm followed by the 144mm for a vehicle into the guardrail. No injuries were reported and this portion of I-70 East-Bound remains open. Thank you to Hopewell Twp Fire Department for the assistance.

Please use caution throught the area due to the amount of traffic on Route 40. Remember all emergency crews, ODOT, Officers, and everyone assisting have families and homes they would like to return too.

For July's fire trainings, our newer members and juniors took a dive right into search and rescue! Crews of 2 were placed into a controlled environment with zero visibility to simulate real life situations where victims may become trapped. Our crews did fantastic, working together, learning basic search patterns and tactics needed for such situations.

Yesterday our duty crew assisted South Zanesville Volunteer Fire Department on a motor vehicle accident where the vehicle had caught fire. Rescue 831 supplied additional water to Engine 1415. No injures were reported.

We would like to thank the members of our community and our local Dollar General stores for the MASSIVE donation of water and sports drinks over the past few weeks. We are deeply grateful for your support and cannot thank you enough. The crazy part? This isn't even all of it, cause boy has it been a hot one out there lately! Thank you !

MISSING / ENDANGERED JUVENILE

Emmett Rodeheaver
5’5” | 90 lbs | Blue eyes | Blonde hair

Emmett was last seen around 11:20 a.m. leaving a residence on foot, traveling northeast near Rankin Road.

He is considered missing and endangered due to possible Autism, ODD, and ADHD.

If you have any information on Emmett’s whereabouts, please contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
