🎥 Thank you to the Greater Gravette Chamber of Commerce and Tristan Ray of TR Creative Content for sharing this video from the 6th Annual Gravette School District Appreciation Day. District employees gathered at the performing arts center to start the 2026-2027 academic year with a pep rally kickoff from the high school band and cheerleaders.

The Gravette School Board met this week to celebrate new educators and hear key updates from the new school year. Board members welcomed seven new teachers to our district, reviewed rising student enrollment, and discussed plans for district growth.

Student enrollment increased by about 50 students compared to the end of last year. Summer reading classes also helped most participating students improve their reading levels before school started.

🎉 Gravette School District staff gathered at the performing arts center last week for the 6th Annual Gravette School District Staff Appreciation Day to launch the 2026-2027 academic year. Local leaders, area sponsors, and administrators joined together to celebrate district employees, present service recognitions, and distribute gifts donated by local businesses.

The morning featured celebrations for long-term staff members like facilities and transportation director Richard Carver, who marked over 46 years of service to local schools. Classified staff members of the year received trophies, while educators across every building earned Teacher of the Year honors. Area businesses provided raffle prizes, tote bags, and lunch to support educators as they prepare for the new school year.

Strong support from local businesses and families helps build a school system where staff and students focus on growth every day. Thank you to the Greater Gravette Chamber of Commerce and every partner who made this celebration possible. Pantry schedule change THIS WEEK ONLY due to Parent Night!

Food Pantry open Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM (not Thursday) at our new location: 600 El Paso Street!

NEW LOCATION: When open we will be at 600 El Paso Street for the remainder of this school year. The pantry is no longer located in the Western Benton County Career Center.

Open to all families with students attending Gravette Schools.

👟 Samaritan's Feet and Highlands Church are providing FREE new shoes and socks for local students at their back-to-school giveaway tomorrow.

📅 Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
📍 Location: Gravette Middle School Cafeteria

Pre-K through eighth grade students and their older siblings can receive a new pair of shoes, socks, and a Hope Tote with supplies. Children must be present to receive their items. Families who registered in advance have secured spots starting at 10:00 AM. A walk-up session is available from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM where remaining shoes will be distributed first come, first served while supplies last.
