🩸 GIVE BLOOD. SAVE LIVES. HONOR A LEGACY 🩸

The annual Gravette Boots, Badges & Bandages Blood Drive is coming up, and we’re asking our community to step up, roll up a sleeve, and help make a difference!

📍 Gravette Civic Center & Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette

This year’s blood drive will be held in honor of the late Gravette Fire Chief David Orr, who was one of the founding members of Boots, Badges & Bandages in Gravette. Chief Orr understood the importance of bringing our community together to help others, and we can think of no better way to honor his legacy than by continuing what he helped start.

We especially want to challenge our students and young adults to get involved! If you're eligible to donate, this is an opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life. The blood collected right here in our community helps provide lifesaving blood to area hospitals and patients who need it.

One donation. A little bit of your time. A very big impact.

And there are a few extras for donors, too! All donors will receive a surprise First Responders T-shirt while supplies last and will also receive a chance to win a $10,000 Dream Vacation!

Due to another water line being hit by a separate fiber optic company today on Second St. SW by Dallas St.,
effective immediately, the City has implemented a cease and desist on all boring operations within the City and the city right-of-way.

This action is being taken as a precautionary measure to help mitigate the risk of further impacts to water lines and protect the City’s critical infrastructure.

This also will aid in the county’s water conservation efforts.

All boring activities within the City and City right-of-way are to cease immediately until further notice.

The City will continue to assess the situation, coordinate with contractors and utility providers, and take appropriate steps to protect the community’s water system and ensure the safety and reliability of essential services.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as we work to address these concerns.
