The Morgan County R-II School District will use snow routes this afternoon (Wednesday, January 28) and tomorrow morning (Thursday, January 29). Conditions will be reassessed before tomorrow afternoon, and any updates regarding use of snow routes for the remainder of the week will be communicated through district communication channels. 🍪💛 Sweet Moments at Little Tigers Early Learning Center! 💛 🍪

Ms. Baker’s preschool students had the sweetest time today, Tuesday, December 9, as they decorated cookies and spent part of their afternoon making special memories with their grandparents!

From colorful sprinkles to big smiles, creativity, and lots of love during their Grandparent Activity. We are so thankful for all of the wonderful grandparents who were able to join in on the fun.

Important Update! Due to changes in weather patterns and roadways school will not be in session tomorrow. This is an update to our previous message.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - SCHOOL CLOSED - SNOW DAY - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2

The Morgan County R-II School District will now be closed tomorrow Tuesday, December 2. This will not be an AMI day. This will not be a day that is made up. District offices will be closed. We will communicate tomorrow on the status of activities. Stay safe and warm Tigers!

❄2025-2026 Winter Weather Communications❄

As winter approaches, we want to make sure everyone stays informed and safe when weather impacts our school day. When a decision is made to cancel school, hold an AMI day, run bus snow routes, or dismiss early, Morgan County R-II will communicate through several methods to keep everyone in the loop.

You’ll receive a text message, email, and automated phone call, and we’ll also post updates on our district Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as on the district website at www.versaillestigers.org. In addition, announcements will air on local media outlets:
- KS95 Radio in Versailles (FM 95.1)
- KRMS–KY94 in Osage Beach (FM 93.5 and AM 1150)
- KCVO in Camdenton (FM 91.7)
- And, when possible, KRCG-TV (Channel 13) in Jefferson City and KOMU-TV (Channel 8) in Columbia.

Parents, please take a moment to ensure your contact information is current in both Parent Portal (via Infinite Campus) and ParentSquare, and double-check your notification settings so you don’t miss important updates.

MCR-II will have its semi-annual mass notification system check tomorrow, Thursday, November 6, at 5 p.m. Faculty, staff, parents/guardians of MCR-II be sure to check if you get your "test" messages via email, voice, and text. Call your school building on Friday, November 7, or email [email protected] if you do not. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and informed!

📣MCR-II Mass Notification System Check - Thursday, November 6📣

To continue to ensure important updates are communicated, especially during the winter weather season, the Morgan County R-II School District will conduct its semi-annual test of our ParentSquare mass notification system on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m.

At that time, faculty, staff, and parents/guardians of MCR-II will receive a “test” alert via email, text, and voice message. Please note—this is only a test.

This test helps you:
- Verify your contact information in the Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal or with school building office
- Review your Parent Portal and ParentSquare communication preferences
- Complete registration for either account (IC Parent Portal or ParentSquare) if you haven’t already. If you have, you do not need to register again.

Remember, Infinite Campus and ParentSquare work together—the contact information we have on file in Infinite Campus is used in ParentSquare to send important messages/alerts. It is important that the information we have on file is current and complete. It is also important to check your notification settings to be sure to receive these messages.

If you don’t receive all types of messages (text, email, and/or voice) during the test, please contact your building office by Friday, November 7 or email [email protected].
