WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED FOR RAMBLEWOOD SUBDIVISION!!!

I guess I need to be a little more patient, as the call came in right after I posted the last post. Thanks again for your patience, we appreciate it. Again if anyone is having any water issues please reach out to our DPW so they are aware and if needed they can take action.

Just wanted to update everyone in Ramblewood- we still have not heard back from the lab. They are closed on Sundays but were hoping that we would get results back as this was an urgent matter. As soon as we get word I will post an update.

Update - DPW guys going out now to collect water samples from 5 different locations within Ramblewood Subdivision. Samples will be taken to the Traverse City Lab for analysis and we will have results back in 24hours. If all goes well and as anticipated, we will be able to lift the boil water noticeably tomorrow.

Thank you everyone in Ramblewood Subdivision for your patience. This started at what was thought to be a pipe that only fed select houses, that is why some said they were notified because we believed they would be the only ones effective by this. Once the issue was located and the pipe was exposed it was a much bigger problem, it was a water main. The water main did not completely break but a section had numerous holes that was leaking water. The Blair Township DPW guys, alongside Alpers and assistance from Blair Township Fire Department were able to shut everything down and drain the water from the pipes so the repair could be completed. At 10:00 PM tonight the repair was completed and the hole was being filled back in. As I said before, please boil your water and as soon as I get word that the water passed the test I will pass the information on.

The water in Ramblewood Subdivision will be shut off so that the Main can be fixed.
