To Our Patrons:

We were recently made aware that unauthorized political handouts were found inside a small number of library books. Library staff began removing these materials immediately upon learning of the issue and will continue to review our collection to ensure that all items remain free of non-library materials.

Gray Public Library is committed to being a welcoming and inclusive space for all members of our community. We provide access to resources and information for the people of Gray regardless of background or beliefs and do not endorse political viewpoints. Our goal is to bring people together by offering a place where friends and neighbors can connect over a great read, where children can thrive at storytime, and where every visitor feels welcome.

If you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to inquire about the steps we’re taking, please call 207-657-4110 ext. 201 or email [email protected].

Thank you,
Andrea Kazilionis
Library Director
