🎶Get your kicks on Route 26 🎶
Hello Poland!

We are very happy to announce that Mr. Drew and His Animals Too’s potential new, long term home will Route 26 in Beautiful Poland Maine! We are awaiting to sign the lease and get the keys and as soon as that happens we will update on all our details regarding our labor intensive move.
We found a free standing 10K sq.ft. space that will be perfect for our needs with some potential, limited outside use.
We will be in the Poland Crossing Plaza at 1385 Maine St. Poland, Maine 04274 in the former Family Dollar location.
The Town of Poland has been very gracious with ideas, supportive, helpful and the excitement has been infectious, in this mutual adventure to work as a team to benefit us, the community of Poland and the surrounding areas.
We will now have a separate space for retail with its own separate entrance, there will now be two party spaces available (one private and one semi private), we will be able to set up our kiln and lapidary machine (in the back room) for use on special events, the new marine touch tank will be up and running when we open, a planting/growing area, we will be able to to host outside movie nights, night time astronomy observation and so much more! Summer Track and Field is open!

05/02/2025

Hi all! I'm thinking about doing an kid play date meet up in the EVENING since most meet ups are during the day which makes it hard for working parents and school-age children to attend!

Im thinking May 23 from 4-6 at the gray town hall and the community park right next to it!

If you think you'd be interested please ♥️ this so I can decide if it'd be worth organizing or not!

I absolutely love sensory bins. Winter in Maine can be tough to find things to do and this is where sensory bins come into play (pun intended). We have tried minimum 75 different sensory fillers/textures but rice is just too easy to not have in our rotation.

When I say sensory bins you might think $$$$ but it doesn't have to be that way. This Halloween sensory bin can cost you less than $10. Enter Dollar Tree! You'll need atleast two bags of white rice and a couple bottles of paint. The great thing about sensory bins is you can customize it to your needs and expenses. I had everything I needed on hand and you might too!

When this dries, I'll dump it in our bins and add some Halloween trinkets and toys. Think spiders, cauldrons, eyeballs etc. I will also have some potion recipes on hand for kids to try to follow along if they'd like but I like to keep it open-ended and see what they come with on their own!

Let me know what your favorite sensory bin filler is! What about your child(ren) what is their favorite?
