Today, our police academy recruits completed defensive spray exposure and training—an important part of preparing them for the realities of law enforcement service.

This training helps recruits understand the effects of OC spray firsthand while building confidence in their ability to continue functioning under stress. Following exposure, each recruit successfully worked through an obstacle - nice job Class 62!

There's still time to sign up for the Kirtland Regional Police Academy Community Run on April 17th, where cadets, instructors, and local law enforcement come together with our communities to raise funds for Special Olympics Michigan through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
