Just passing along in case you’d like to check it out in a couple of weeks…

Looking for some weekend treasure hunting? Several neighborhoods in the Meadowview community are participating in the Grayslake Community Garage Sale on June 12-13. Whether you’re searching for toys, books, sports equipment, home décor, or hidden treasures, there are lots of local sales to explore!

Thanks to The Hering Homes Team - Coldwell Banker IL/WI for helping organize and share the sale map with the community.

Thanks to our families, staff, and volunteers, our students had so many opportunities to celebrate, connect, read, create, give back, and just have fun.
Our teachers and staff were incredibly appreciative of all the ways families helped make their days brighter throughout the year.

Together, we supported:
-Summer Playdates
-School Supply Kit Fundraisers
-Ice Cream Social
-Back to School Night
-Kindergarten Night
-Art & Music Shows
-Birthday Breakfasts & Books (monthly)
-Flower Sales
-Fall Fest
-the Avon Township Halloween Costume Drive
-Neon Glow Party with a special Sensory Room
-Scholastic Book Fairs (fall and spring)
-Reading & Bingo Night
-Staff Appreciation (monthly)
-Conference Meals
-Bears vs. Packers Coin Drive
-Build-a-Mustang
-School Nights Out
-Launch Trampoline Park Fundraiser
-Donuts with Grownups
-Food Drives and Pizza Parties
-Young Authors
-Assemblies/special speakers
-Field Trips
-Imagination Day
-extra special Kona Ice Truck visit
-always-popular yard signs for Photo Opps to start & bookend the year.

💙This INCREDIBLE day would not have been possible without the help of so many people...presenters, teachers/staff, volunteers, etc! The kids always look forward to Imagination Day and we want to THANK YOU for making it amazing!

💙What Is Imagination Day?
It's a day full of activities, experiments, sports, animals, science, arts/crafts, technology, literacy, engineering, dance, community heroes, music, animals, gardening, arts/crafts, balloons, math and so much more! Presenters teach the kids skills and activities, while having fun.

💙It fosters learning, problem-solving, teamwork, dedication, innovation, creativity, resilience, kindness, joy and curiosity.
It's fresh perspectives and fun!

💙We all had a great time! What was your favorite?
