The last day of school is always bittersweet. We love watching our Falcons FLY but it is hard to see them off for the summer. Here are a few photos of our fun filled last day.

On Wednesday, May 20th Frederick hosted their annual Field Day. There were bounce houses, parachutes, escape rooms, yard games, tug of war, art projects, trivia, and hot dogs galore.

A big thank you to the parents and staff who worked to make it all happen!

We kicked off our Field Day with an all school assembly featuring Matt Wilhelm's BMX Show. With a fun mix of BMX talent and character education Matt got our students ready for some fun!

We celebrated our 2026 retirees this morning with cake and a gift of gratitude.

Ms. Batson, Ms. Chapman, Ms. Davis, Ms. Franzen, Ms. Geske, Mr. Geske, Ms. Gildenberg, Ms. Griffin, & Ms. Leon you will truly be missed in the halls of Frederick School.

The Frederick Cadet Band attended the Music in the Parks contest this past Saturday, May 15th. They performed at Zion-Benton Township High School and then enjoyed a celebratory day at Six Flags Great America.

The students performed exceptionally well, earning a Superior rating and taking home a trophy in recognition of their hard work and dedication!

Way to go FALCONS!!!

The Middle Ages Wax Museum is a favorite tradition at Frederick School. In 6th Grade Social Science students are assigned a figure from the Middle Ages to research and create a mini biography on. They present their biography in class from memory before preparing a costume and presenting during the Annual Wax Museum. Big thanks to the parents and community members who came to hear all about what our students have been learning!

Last week our Frederick School Student Council celebrated another successful year with a party at Launch Gurnee. After an issue with the previous location Launch Gurnee pulled together an amazing evening for our students on three days notice.
