As an Aerospace Education Member with the Civil Air Patrol, I’ve seen firsthand how valuable their STEM kits can be in sparking curiosity and hands-on learning in the classroom. I was fortunate to receive a Flight Simulator STEM Kit just before the big shutdown; an incredible resource that allowed students to explore aviation and aerodynamics in an engaging, interactive way.

While STEM kit distribution is currently on hold, the impact these tools have on students is undeniable. Watching learners light up as they connect theory to real-world applications reminds me why STEM education is so important. I’m looking forward to when these kits return and can once again help educators bring aerospace concepts to life in classrooms everywhere.
