At approximately 11:20 p.m. Sgt. Jason Hall and Ofc. Zack Kesee with the Grayson Police Department, assisted by Deputies Bobby Hall and Evan Knipp from the Carter County Sheriff's Office, responded to a residence on West US-60 regarding a warrant service on a Mr.
Travis Blamer.
After Officer's entered the residence and contacting Mr. Blamer, Officers found 2 ounces of m**hamphetamine, a small amount of ma*****na, and drug paraphernalia in his immediate vicinity. When Mr. Blamer saw the Officers, he attempted to tamper with physical evidence.
Following these events Mr. Blamer was taken into custody and charged with the following:
Trafficking in controlled Substance Is Degree 1st Offense >2 Grams Methamphetamine, Possession of ma*****na, Drug paraphernalia- Buy/Possess, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Fugitive From another State. In addition to a Warrant for Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree
- Motor Vehicle, Assault 3rd Degree- Police Officer, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
Mr. Blamer was lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.
