☀️ Summer Opportunities for Incoming 7th & 8th Graders ☀️

GBMS Band Director will have opportunities for musicians to hone their playing skills.

Check out the many opportunities available this summer for students to stay active, build strength, and continue developing their athletic skills! Checkout the flyers for more information.💪🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Tonight, May 19, at 6:00 PM, there will be an Open House for Summer Strength, Power, and Speed at the Panther Athletic Center on the Great Bend High School campus.

Band- June 15th - July 9th
Cross Country- begins June 15th and runs all summer
Strength, Power, & Speed- June 1st to July 30th with June 26 - July 5th off
Tennis- begins June 1st
Volleyball- begins June 3rd

Today, GBMS honored veteran teacher Gary Pinkall for his incredible 44 years of dedication to teaching and coaching. Gary has been a valued member of the GBMS staff since the merger of Harrison and Roosevelt into Great Bend Middle School.

He is admired for his calm demeanor, commitment to mentoring both students and staff, and his passion for science education. Throughout his career, Gary has made a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues.

We congratulate Gary on his retirement and thank him for his many years of service to GBMS. He will truly be missed in the halls of GBMS.

The YB class went outside on Monday to create beautiful sidewalk displays encouraging students to purchase a yearbook before they’re gone. Yearbooks are still available for purchase in the GBMS front office for $40. The price has increased and will remain at $40 until they are sold out.
