What a powerful image!
International Missing Children's Day is an international day celebrated on May 25th, the same day as the United States' National Missing Children's Day designated by Ronald Reagan in 1983.
It is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the issue of missing children, highlighting the efforts made to find and bring them back safely, and supporting the families affected by these tragedies.
We are proud to be part of a team that fights to find and bring them back safely whenever possible!

Special Olympics Annual Torch run!
The athletes and staff had an option to run, walk, and bike this event. Which started at the Opportunity bank with an end result of passing on the Torch to the receiving personnel of Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s who met us at the final destination of Wolf creek. With one of our CCSO Deputies, CCSO Detention Transport Officers, as well as Great falls Police Department, and Probation and parole assisting with their marked and unmarked vehicles to guide us safely throughout the course. They did an amazing job, and always a pleasure to be a part of such a fun and inspiring event!

This is a recurring scam, please share with your family and friends!

DO NOT BE FOOLED by the phone number on your caller ID, nor the name of the alleged person calling you.

REMEMBER: you can hang up, call a verified trusted number (a phone number researched by you from an independent source, ex. you look up the phone number separately), and ask us if the phone call is legitimate.

If the scammers call you after hours or on the weekend and tell you a deputy will come arrest you if you don't pay with a credit card/wire funds/go buy Visa gift cards/etc. at that moment or tell you a deputy will arrest you if you hangup -THIS IS NOT TRUE!!

Please share with your family and friends.

UPDATE: We have also received reports that people are receiving phone scam calls from Sheriff Slaughter's phone number and identifying themselves as Captain Scott. In past phone calls the scammers have used names like Captain Anderson, Lieutenant Darby, Corporal McComb. It could be any name they can think of, so don't be fooled.

REMEMBER: The Cascade County Sheriff's Office will NEVER CALL AND SOLICIT PAYMENT over the phone for warrants or anything else!
