Group A retirees enrolled in Tricare Select will see their annual enrollment fee increase from $355.92 to $364.92 for a family and from $177.96 to $181.92 for an individual. Group A retirees using Tricare Prime will see the enrollment fee for a family plan increase from $726 to $744, while an individual's costs will go from $363 to $372 annually.

Retirees in Tricare Group B will see similar increases. The annual enrollment fee for the Prime family plan will rise from $879 to $900.96, while the individual plan will go from $426 to $438.96. Enrollment fees for Tricare Select will increase from $1,131 to $1,158.96 for a family and from $438.96 to $579 for an individual

Civilian Retirees: FEHB premiums are rising sharply as seen in the BCBS historical costs. Failing to analyze and compare plans during the Open Season could be a big mistake.

With the average premium increase for 2025 being 13.5%(!), that may be enough to get you to at least consider reviewing your options. Keep in mind that not all plans increase by the same amount. Some will increase by more and some by less with the average premium increase coming out at that 13.5%. At a minimum, you’ll want to look at your current plan to see how it’s affected.

ANNUAL FALL LEAF PICKUP PROGRAM
GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls Leaf Pickup Program in the Boulevard District begins Wednesday, October 30, 2024 and runs through Friday, November 22, 2024. Area schedules will be followed, but are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment failure, personnel availability or unforeseeable emergencies. All schedule changes will be posted on https://greatfallsmt.net/news and the Park and Recreation page.
A new interactive Boulevard District tracking map will be available for citizens to utilize this year. The interactive map will allow citizens to see up-to-date routes that have been completed by the crews and the area they are currently working in. There are changes to this year’s Leaf Pickup Schedule, so please take note and read this notice in its entirety. For those residing within the Boulevard District, the Natural Resources Division will vacuum leaves from the boulevards. The City Street Division will be sweeping streets in conjunction with the leaf pickup.
There will be no manual raking done this year. Please reference the following tips for leaf placement:
• Place your leaf piles closest to the street side of your boulevard residence. Do not place leaves towards the sidewalk or in the street gutter.
• Do not place leaves around parked vehicles, as the new machines need a minimum of two feet of clearance around of any obstacle.
• Do not place leaves around tree bases, signs, light poles, or any other obstacles.
To avoid obstructing traffic or clogging storm drains, residents are being asked to deposit leaves on the boulevard next to the curb and not in the street gutter. If leaf piles are placed in street gutter, rain, snow and vehicles driving on the piles make it impossible to pick up the leaves. Piles with branches, grass clippings, garden waste and pet waste cause damage to the equipment and will not be picked up. Please arrange for pickup of those items with your sanitation provider. Please have all leaves raked out to the boulevard by 7 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled pickup day. If leaves are not ready when crews go through scheduled areas, the crews and vehicles will not backtrack for collection in that same day.
Under normal conditions, the Forestry Division operates the annual Leaf Pickup Program with three operating crews. Due to being under staffed this year, the program will be managed under two crews. Due to this change, if your residence is located on the left hand side of a one-way in any of the areas, your residence will not follow the posted schedule. These addresses will be picked up intermittently throughout the Leaf Pickup schedule, due to the complexity of the equipment. Please remove vehicles from the street and avenue on the scheduled pickup day to allow for vacuuming as well as street sweeping. Hours of Forestry crew operation are 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

In concurrence with the ongoing exercise, there are currently EXERCISE protestors outside of the 2nd Avenue Gate at Malmstrom AFB. This is part of the exercise and is not a real-world situation.

From Oct 25 to Oct 27, you can't make any enrollment changes. From Oct 28 to Dec 31, if you want to change your plan, you must call your regional contractor because you can't do it online. If you like your plan and you want to keep it for next year, you don't need to take any action to enroll since you are already enrolled. If you live in the West Region or your state is switching to the West Region and pay enrollment fees or premiums by credit card or EFT, you must provide payment information to TriWest, the new regional contractor replacing HealthNet. You have 2 options to set up payments with TriWest.

🚨There is a scheduled TRICARE enrollment freeze from Oct. 25 to 27 and there will be limitations to the Beneficiary Web Enrollment self-service portal from Oct. 28 to Dec. 31.🚨

During Oct. 25 to 27, you will not be able to make any enrollment changes.

During Oct. 28 to Dec. 31, if you live in the U.S., you’ll need to call your regional contractor to make health plan changes.

As AI becomes more popular and offers valuable capabilities, there are a few important tips that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency recommends to keep in mind:

- Mind your inputs - Do not put private information into AI systems.
- Be privacy aware - Know that AI systems can use data found on the internet.
- Be aware that hackers use AI - This can be in the form of fake/modified phone calls or images.
- AI is only a tool - AI should be used to assist with tasks rather than relying solely on AI to create content.
