Bingo was unfortunately suspended at our Senior Center for the past few weeks. Misinformation, Lies and Accusations are sadly being circulated to create confusion and chaos. Bingo will restart at our Senior Center on Saturday October 14th at Noon under new volunteer leadership. Bingo will feature consistent pricing and a faster pace. Feel free to contact Sr Ctr Staff or Board of Directors if you have any questions and don't let slanderous rumors keep you away.

Michelle Schultz was honored as our 2020 Volunteer of the Year at our Sept 17 Board Meeting. The award was presented by your Board of Director's President Commissioner Jim Larson. We normally have a Volunteer Banquet in April of each year. Unfortunately, it has been continually postponed due to the Covid-19 situation. Thus, we had a party for Michelle today at the Senior Center. The past number of years, Michelle's main volunteer role at our Senior Center was with our 2x a week Bingo parties. Unfortunately, we have not had bingo at your Senior Center since March; Michelle and Vivian and the bingo volunteers are looking forward to getting bingo going on. We will keep you informed. Congratulations, Michelle on being our Volunteer of the Year.

All of us at our Senior Center are saddened to learn of the closures of some of our fine and delicious Great Falls area restaurants. It is important that if financially possible, the citizens of Great Falls need to continue supporting our local community businesses. Remember many businesses are financially struggling today and we can help by being there to financially support and encourage their efforts.

FRAUD ALERT!!!! Please share this wide and far right away!!! Someone is spoofing our phone number and using the real identity of our officers to try and get you to pay off warrants over the phone.

We will NEVER call you about paying off your warrants. We don't even have the capability to accept a payment for warrants.

THE FRAUD: To the one recieving one of these calls the number on caller ID may ours (406-727-7688) and, on at least two occassions today, the caller has identified themselves as actual officers of our department.

Once they get their hook in you, and have you fearful of the warrrants you may or may not legitimately have, they instruct you to purchase gift cards and send them photos of the cards.

Unfortunately we have one victim who is out at least $1000. Luckily a savvy Albertsons employee intervened before more was given to the scammers.

If you believe you have fallen victim to this scam please call us to file a report. 406-727-7688 X5.

If you are ever unsure about a call from us feel free to get the "callers" name and call us at 406-727-7688. That is exactly what one potential victim did today and the Lieutenant she made contact with assured her that he had not called her.
