It's Friday and we're getting excited for all of the fun events we have coming up! Here's your Friday 5 for this week:

1.) City Motors Thanksgiving Sales Event starts on November 18th and runs until the 30th. City Motors has agreed to donate $250 from every vehicle sold to Family Promise Great Falls. Special thanks to Cooper and the crew at City Motors for this generous donation event.

2. Taco John's at 825 NW Bypass has partnered with us for an evening of great food for a great cause! On November 20th from 5-8 p.m. 20% of your order total will benefit the families we serve. Special thanks to Michelle Hankes for allowing us this opportunity!

3. Join us on November 21st from 5-8 p.m. at The University of Providence Student Center for an educational evening of raising awareness for homelessness within our community. Night Without a Bed is organized with the help of local student leaders, and is a free evening for visitors of any age to come and learn about the services offered in our community for those experiencing homelessness. Snacks provided by Horizon Credit Union.

4. Our holiday appreciation party is coming up on December 3rd from 4-7 p.m. in our offices at 1019 Central Avenue. We have been blessed with the help of a few fabulous volunteers that have been working hard to make our Day Room cheerful and bright for the party (it looks awesome). We'll have light refreshments and our staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the work that we do within the community. We hope to see you there!

5. Fast fact of the day. The largest age group of children experiencing homelessness are infants.

Welcome to another great Friyay morning! This week for our Friday 5 we bring you our latest news and upcoming events:

1.) Join us on Wednesday, November 20th from 5-8 p.m. at Taco John's on the NW Bypass for a great meal for a great cause!

2.) Join us on Thursday, November 21st from 5-8 p.m. at The University of Providence Student Center for our awareness event Night Without a Bed. Snacks provided by Horizon Credit Union.

3.) Our annual appreciation party is coming up on Tuesday, December 3rd from 4-7 p.m. at our offices at 1019 Central Avenue.

4.) We are still seeking donations for the holidays for our shelter kiddos. We have a total of 4 children in the shelter and we'd like to see them have a great Christmas. There are 3 boys and 1 little girl.

5.) Fast Fact: 1/3 of women experiencing homelessness, are homeless due to domestic violence.

Thank you to The Salvation Army Great Falls, Montana for helping so many families in our community with Christmas meals and gifts for children. We appreciate your service to our community and think that your organization is a blessing. Happy Holidays!

We will be opening our online Applications for Christmas starting Friday, NOVEMBER 1. Please read the flyer thoroughly and these instructions if you are applying.

1. You must APPLY ONLINE and provide all the necessary information including uploaded pics of proof of age of the children, proof of address and ID for applicant.
2. If you do not finish your application you will be notified to finish within a certain time and if not completed application will be denied and deleted. Please check your email for communication.
3. Kids 0-12 are listed as Angels in the application, all other people in Household are either the applicant or other household members. Please do not put the children in as anything but an Angel.
4. If we hit our application limit the online system will no longer take applicants. More spaces may open up after we have reviewed the applications so check back after a few days.
5. If you want to apply for FOOD ONLY, households with no kids ages 0-12, contact or visit our Family Services location. 406-761-5660 / 527 9th Ave S.

Family Promise Friday 5 for the week of October 21st. Every Friday we will bring you 5 facts or items of interest from Family Promise Great Falls. Check back every week to see the latest from our affiliate!

1.) Greg and Tiffany Wilkson recently visited Indianapolis, Indiana for the Family Promise National Conference. They can't wait to share all that they've learned with our staff and families!
2.) We are having a MAD fundraiser on Monday, October 28th! Join us at Teriyaki Madness for some great food for a great cause. Show the event flyer (pictured below) on your mobile device, or have one printed out and 20% of your order total will benefit homeless children and their families. Thanks Teriyaki Madness!
3.) We are seeking donations of a Christmas tree and ornaments for one of our shelter families. Interested in donating? Call the office at 406-564-5267 and ask for Tiffany Wilkson.
4.) We need volunteers to decorate the Day Room for the upcoming holiday season. Interested? Just send an email to Tiffany Wilkson at [email protected].
5.) Fact of the day, 30% of the total homeless population is comprised of families.
