Since there has been so much discussion, please allow us to clarify. AI generated photos are used, or stock photos, in place of images of actual families. Unless a specific waiver is signed, we NEVER use photos of actual families. It is not only against policy, but for the privacy of the family in question, we are trying to protect them. If you've never experienced homelessness, you probably are not aware of the negative comments and opinions that you can encounter while seeking services.

Yesterday we had a family of 6 with another baby on the way, come in seeking shelter. Due to a lack of space and funding, we were unable to shelter them. We did provide a bag full of food and drinks, and a referral to a community resource.

It is heartbreaking to have to send a family to a different resource when funding restrictions are in place. However, we help as many families as we can and never just say no. We work together with as many different agencies as possible to come up with workable solutions for the people we serve.

Your donations are hard at work here, and serving as many families as possible. With your support, we are currently supporting 10 families on the Journey Program, our Stabilization Program that helps families stay in their housing for a period of up to two years.

Don't forget, today and every Thursday in the month of August from 10 a.m. until noon you can pick up a weekend sack lunch for your child under age 18 at Family Promise of Great Falls! Our office is at 1019 Central Avenue (the alley entrance to Central Christian Church).

Children must be present to receive a lunch. Intake paperwork not required.
