Step back in time at Colvin Run Mill where you can explore the beautiful setting of a bygone age and marvel at the technological innovations of the early 1800s. Tickets for touring the interior of the mill are available at the general store. Shop in the old-time country store, have a picnic, or take a walk around the grounds and enjoy the historical views. Colvin Run Mill, constructed ca. 1811, is

a working mill that offers demonstrations of grinding grain on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, April through October, noon-3pm. Call ahead to confirm that conditions permit the grinding of grain.

During the summer and early fall, we stone grind grain in historic Colvin Run Mill on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month.

Local, amateur photographers of all ages are invited to submit photos depicting life in zip code 22066 (e.g. flora, fauna, scenery, buildings, pets, hobbies, subjects inside/outside the home, local events, the dark skies, parks and more. (But, please, no people in the photo.) It's a wonderful opportunity to share your artistic perspective of Great Falls with the community.

 The unjudged exhibition is open to ALL residents of zip code 22066 and members of sponsoring organizations like FoCRM.

 Registrations must be received no later than April 10, 2026.

 Photographs are to be submitted at the Great Falls Library on Saturday, April 11, 2026 and Saturday, April 18, 2026.
