⭐️ Presenting our Cadet of the Week: CDT Carly Berg ⭐️

Cadet Berg helped train and lead the Ranger Challenge Team and preparing to lead the Bataan Memorial March Team while managing the demanding academic and clinical responsibilities of a rigorous nursing program.

While enrolled in an academically demanding nursing program, CDT Berg demonstrated exceptional leadership and resilience by serving as the leader of both the Ranger Challenge Team and the Bataan Team. Balancing the rigorous clinical, academic, and time commitments of nursing education with the physical and organizational demands of these teams required strong discipline, adaptability, and perseverance. In her leadership roles, Carly was responsible for motivating team members, coordination training schedules, and maintaining high standards of performance, all while managing the pressures of a challenging curriculum. Her ability to excel simultaneously in academics and team leadership reflects a strong work ethic, effective time management skills, and a deep commitment to personal growth and service.

Today, we're spotlighting one of JROTC Programs: Joliet Central High School.

On September 1st, the Cadets marched in the 5th Annual Labor Day Parade in Manhattan, IL, showcasing their dedication, teamwork, and leadership while honoring the spirit of Labor Day (first slide).

On September 8th, the Cadets placed nearly 3,000 flags outside of their school to honor the lives lost on September 11th, 2001. This annual tradition of the JROTC program serves as a reminder of the tragedy and heroism of the first responders and civilians who were lost that day (second slide).

The Joliet Central High School JROTC program has displayed consistent commitment to discipline, leadership, and service, and we are excited to see what the Cadets do next.
