General information

The Great Neck Library is an Association Library serving the residents of the Great Neck School District. The Library was established in 1880 and incorporated in 1889. We provide service to children at the Main Library and at our three branches. Librarians are always available in the Children's Room. We can help you select books for leisure reading, and we can help you with homework assignments. We present a great many programs throughout the year. We have programs for babies, for toddlers, for preschoolers, and for school-age children through the sixth grade. You will find all of our programs listed in the Library's bi-monthly newsletter. All you need is your library card to register.
