This week we hosted Baby Spaghetti, giving little ones the chance to explore spaghetti and yogurt through hands-on sensory play.

Activities like this are more than just fun—they support brain development, strengthen fine motor skills, encourage curiosity and exploration, and can even help reduce picky eating by introducing babies to new textures in a positive, low-pressure environment.

🚚🦖 SPECIAL DELIVERY AT THE LIBRARY! 🦕

Something unusual rolled off the library truck this week… dinosaurs!

Our prehistoric visitors marched right through the front doors, explored the Story Garden, and immediately started checking out all the books. After a quick tour, they made an important discovery: the library is the perfect place to spend the summer.

The dinos are sticking around to help celebrate our Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story! Join us for the Family Kickoff event on Saturday, June 20, from 10AM–12 for face painting, therapy dogs, games, and more!

Do you have a friend or a loved one who is experiencing memory loss or other cognitive issues? The Greece Public Library now offers 10 themed Stay Sharp Kits.
These interactive kits include fun and engaging items to spark conversation, reminiscing, and brain activity. Themes include: Explore the Art World, Let’s Move, Gardening, Handyman, Dogs, Cats, Homemaker, On the Road Again, Things That Fly, and Senior Game Night. They may be checked out for 3 weeks.
