🚔 LPR Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Stop, Predicate Felon Arrest 🚔
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at approximately 6:25pm, Greece Police officers received a License Plate Reader (LPR) alert for a reported stolen 2014 Honda Accord traveling westbound on West Ridge Road.
The same vehicle had alerted on the department’s LPR system earlier in the shift, but officers were unable to locate it at that time. When another alert was received, officers checked the area and located the vehicle on West Ridge Road.
Officers conducted a felony traffic stop and safely took both occupants into custody without incident. The suspects were identified as Durune Hill, 33, of Rochester, and Danielle Barback, 36, of Rochester.
During the investigation, officers located a small amount of suspected narcotics inside the vehicle. Officers also determined that both individuals had outstanding warrants. Hill is a double predicate felon with multiple failures to appear and an active New York State Parole Absconder warrant. Barback was also found to have an active arrest warrant through the Rochester Police Department.
Hill was charged with:
• Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree
• Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree
Barback was charged with:
• Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree
• Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree
• False Personation
Both Hill and Barback were transported to Greece Police Headquarters for processing and later taken to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court.
The Greece Police Department’s LPR system continues to assist officers in locating stolen vehicles and providing valuable information that helps officers safely resolve these incidents.
